Come down to Discount Tire in Texas City for your rims and tires. We are located on Palmer Highway, east of Highway 146 (36th Street North). You will find us next to O’Reilly Auto Parts. Stop in for a complimentary air pressure check and inspection.

We have four service bays with friendly experts to service your vehicle and get you back on the road quickly and safely. Precision services include wheel and tire installation, rotation, balancing, and repair. Free Wi-Fi is provided in our showroom where you can watch your vehicle while it is being serviced.

If you prefer, there are plenty of nearby dining and shopping options. Nearby restaurants include Sonic, Schlotsky’s, Popeyes, Chick-fil-A, and more! If you want to shop, we are by Ross, Dollar Tree, Walgreens, Kroger, and H-E-B, among others.

We happily accept walk-ins, or you can make an appointment for your convenience.

A good store to buy your tire and windshield wipers. Was very disappointed when I took my car with a nail in it to get it fixed. They removed the tire, showed me the nail and then said we cant take it off because this tire has another patch so you have to buy a new tire or we will put it back with the nail. I thought they were joking but nope, they actually put back the tire on my car with the nail in it. I had waited for nearly two hours, it takes less than 5minutes to put a patch but they put the tire back on. Very very disappointed. However I would still recommend Discount Tires to anyone looking for a professional safe tires

Affordable and pretty quick, and I highly recommend getting the extra road hazard. I've had three nails and a slice on one tire, and all 4 times I got them repaired/replaced at no charge (other than the added fees for the one replacement tire). This is the only place I go for tires.

Employees are uneducated and unwilling to help customers that purchased a warranty through them for road hazard, instead they fed me lies about my vehicle being misaligned being why they wouldn’t cover my blowout. Basic tire knowledge teaches you tires ware in both edges when under inflated not alignment issues. Will not be returning to Palmer highway for service.
